A historic 5th win in a row for the Dublin senior men’s team over Kerry was a monumental moment. Not stopping there, the Dublin senior women’s team won their third All-Ireland ladies final in a row.
It was especially emotional for us when our club man (Na Fianna) and former Experience Gaelic Games crew member, Eoin Murchan, known to us as ‘Murch’, became a Dublin hero, scoring a goal in the first nine seconds of the second half of the match. This was a game changing moment of pure class!
Murch’s goal was a defining moment as he ran straight through the Kerry defence. Experience Gaelic Games couldn’t be prouder.
An All-Ireland final is no small thing for the Irish. This day is a unique Irish experience that demonstrates the build-up of months of preparation, adrenaline and ultra-dedication – all given by local heroes and all played at amateur level .
The journey to final day defines towns and cities. Croke Park comes to life with passion, pushing the players to the greatest heights. The fans don’t idly watch – they participate.
It’s a sporting atmosphere like no other – unmatched and passionate. All for the love of Gaelic Games.
