Here are a selection of questions and answers that we get asked on a regular basis – hope you find these helpful!

Is this for Me?

We will say that Gaelic Games and Dance should be experienced by every visitor to our shores. We take participants of all abilities, shapes and sizes! This is about a unique Irish experience and getting to try something only available in Ireland. Have a look at our TripAdvisor reviews and you will see that we take all sorts of people on our sessions.

Do I need to be physically fit?

There is physical activity involved in Experience Gaelic Games sessions! You don’t need to be super fit, as we tailor our sessions to suit the group profile and ability. We will ensure that participants only do what is suited to their abilities.

Where are we?

We run our Dublin sessions in a real Gaelic Club, called “Na Fianna”. This club is based in Glasnevin, just 10mins from Dublin city centre, so it is easily accessible.

How to Get to Us

There are three buses which stop directly outside the club (the number 4 and 9 and 155 ). The bus runs from the main street in Dublin, O’Connell Street, heading north side. The bus journey takes no more 10 minutes.

What do the group need?

All you need are flat shoes, preferably runners, tracksuit/shorts or even jeans. There are changing rooms on site.

There are showers/hot water on site. Participants need to bring their own towel.

What are the Facilities?

All games are played on all weather pitches, so you won’t get dirty or mucky. Dancing and handball are played inside.

Also, if the weather is very bad we have indoor Gaelic Football and Hurling equipment, so can run the sessions inside.

What is involved?

All our trainers are GAA accredited and used to training and working with beginners, so they get the best out of individuals.
We will gauge a session and what to do based on group fitness and can easily adapt and change sessions to suit group requirements.
