The Location – College Green

In a central, iconic location in the heart of Dublin City, we are delighted to bring you Experience Gaelic Games in Trinity College Dublin. Cut out the transport costs and join us for an unmissable day of Gaelic action. Trinity College is Ireland’s oldest university – founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth. It is modelled after renowned universities such as Oxford and Cambridge.

The most famous place of interest in the college is the Old Library Building, which houses the Book of Kells. In the words of Visit Dublin, this is one of Ireland’s greatest cultural treasures and is a staple of tourist visits to Dublin. Regarding getting to our location, below are directions on how to get to Experience Gaelic Games – one of the top visitor attractions in Dublin City. Currently we are operating on a group booking only basis so get in touch in advance to find out more about availability.

For our Trinity College sessions, we are quite centrally located in the Pavilion Bar on College Green. It is easy to find.  Use this google maps link to view the location.

– From O’Connell Street, head south towards Bachelors Walk and cross O’Connell bridge.

– Continue onto Westmorland Street.

– Continue onto College Green.

– At the entrance to Trinity College, enter through the magnificent front arch and wooden doorway. You will then be met by the bell tower in the centre. Continue past this and go towards the Book of Kells.

– Continue past the Book of Kells to College Park.

– Walk alongside College Park and go towards the steps of the Pavilion Bar.

– Walk up the steps and enter for a brilliant experience.

Food Included: We are based out of the Pavilion Bar. When you’re finished the experience, get set for a delicious meal from the Pav with a beautiful view overlooking the busy College Park location.

Food/Drink Included: Build up a thirst with the experience and quench the thirst with a drink to settle the stomach. Whether a beef stew and Guinness combination or an Irish coffee to set you on your way, get in touch and we’ll organise it for you!

No. Our groups must be pre-booked in advance so that we can confirm the availability of the location.

How Long Is The Experience?

Typically 2.5 hours. It involves a cultural introduction, Q&A session followed by Gaelic Football and Hurling sessions.
