Our coaches do more than teach skills — they connect you to the heritage of Ireland through fun, inclusive sessions. With backgrounds rooted in Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie, they’re here to make sure your experience is unforgettable.

Co Founder

Cormac Ó Donnchú

Co Founder Experience Gaelic Games. A passionate Gael, fluent Gaelic Speaker with a huge interest in Gaelic culture and history. Deeply involved in local club administration – he’s a fountain of knowledge on all things cultural and historical – just stopping him talking is the challenge.

Georgina Caraher

Co Founder of Experience Gaelic Games – Georgina is passionate about spreading the Gaelic Gospel. A previous high flying life in Advertising & Communication qualifies her to host passionate introductions, coordinate groups and she also keeps all our coaches in check too!

Ríonach Ní Dhonnchú

Blessed (or cursed) to be the daughter of Co Founders Georgina & Cormac – Rionach is a fluent Gaelic speaker and pretty handy swinging a hurl when playing Camogie.
She’s immersed in our culture and games but don’t be deceived by her angelic smile – she can be one tough cookie when playing Camogie.

Andrew is a passionate, engaging and driven coach who never stops. Balancing multiple part-time jobs and his studies, his energy is unmatched and even allows for a hectic social life . You’ll often see him dashing off to his next adventure—but never before giving 100% to every group he meets.

Michael

Michael is the heart of any group experience, with a strong voice heard by all. A dedicated and thoughtful coach, he has a natural gift for making visitors feel at home. His warm personality and hardworking nature ensure every session is both fun and memorable. Ask him about his on-field personality traits!

John may be one of our newer coaches, but he’s already made a big impression. Kind, patient, and deeply passionate about Irish culture, John brings heart and care to every group he works with. And he’s great for a chat.

Jack brings the warrior spirit to life! He’s known for his enthusiasm, energy, and his ability to turn any group into a team of Gaelic games champions. Jack is passionate about creating powerful memories that last long after the final whistle. And he’s great at getting to know every group.

Cork Coach

Shane

Shane is our Group Leader in Cork and the energy behind every session. Known for his quick wit and great storytelling, you might find yourself competing for airtime but you’ll enjoy every minute of it. A natural communicator and experienced coach, Shane combines deep knowledge of Gaelic Games with plenty of laughs along the way. And when it comes to handling a hurley and sliotar, he’s more than capable of backing up the talk.

Ellie is both a welcoming host and a fierce competitor on the camogie field. She leads with energy and encouragement, making sure every visitor—no matter their background or ability—feels confident and involved. Ellie’s passion and positivity are at the heart of every session she runs.

Joe

Joe is a highly accomplished hurler with an All-Ireland Club title in his back pocket, so you’re in very safe hands. Despite the medal collection, he’s one of the most down-to-earth coaches you’ll meet.

He brings passion, pride, and plenty of encouragement to every group, but he makes hurling look easy. Expect top-class coaching, great energy, and a few good laughs along the way.

Anna

Anna is an incredibly skilled camogie and Gaelic football player. If she’s not at a match, she’s probably at training, and if she’s not at training… she’s thinking about it. She truly lives and breathes Gaelic Games.

She brings great energy, patience, and encouragement to every group she works with, making beginners feel comfortable and confident from the very first session. Expect plenty of smiles, positive coaching, and expert tips!
