We’re delighted that our brand new Experience Gaelic Games visitor centre is now open. The bespoke centre has been designed by Celebrity Architect Dermot Bannon who presents the popular Irish TV show ‘Room to Improve”
Our centre is less than ten minutes from O’Connell Street in Dublin. It’s a fitting space to come and learn about the cultural phenomena that are known locally as Gaelic Games.
The centre was officially opened by the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport Paschal Donohoe T.D. who even got to kick a ball himself at the launch.
The new bespoke centre makes it easier for our visitors to come and learn all about the cultural impact of Gaelic Games on Irish Life. It was very apt that the centre opened on the weekend of the All Ireland Football final.
The final played in Croke Park is one of Europe’s biggest and greatest sporting events but probably the least known internationally. While every one is familiar with the Soccer world cup final most are amazed that the All Ireland Gaelic Football Final in 2014 has a larger live attendance!
To really understand the difference of modern Ireland a visit to Experience Gaelic Games is a must! It’s not that we just believe so – our guests have kept us as the Number One Ranked – Thing to do in Dublin on Trip advisor for overt 20 months now.
At an Experience Gaelic Games session -not only do you learn about out games – you have fun learning to play. Be prepared to be amazed, amused and exhilarated as you play the worlds oldest and fastest game on grass! Ahh go on … go on ..go on .. go on …..just book now!
