Switching codes is not as strange as you may think

Switching codes is not as strange as you may think; especially with Experience Gaelic Games overseeing the transition.

At Preston North End’s pre-season camp, Experience Gaelic Games  were delighted to be part of the action. Hosting a hurling session with the lads drew some national media coverage, including the Irish Examiner and The Irish Times.  Turning their hand to a spot of hurling during team bonding, the championship side abandoned their footballs.

It was pretty clear from the start that Ireland striker Seani Maguire and international team-mate Alan Browne, remembered their Gaelic skill sets.  They seamlessly  managed the hurl and sliotar, whilst their remaining teammates struggled slightly!

But as always, it was a pleasure for Experience Gaelic Games to host help switch codes and introduce the players to Gaelic Games in conjunction with Fota Island Adventure.
