At 2pm on Bank Holiday Monday May 7th  2012, an attempt will be made to create a new record for the largest ever Gaelic Football lesson in the World.
The attempt is being organised and run by Dublin GAA Club, Na Fianna in Glasnevin, Dublin 9 and is supported by ”Experience Gaelic Games” a culture/activity offering targeted at corporate and international visitors.

In a major boost to the events profile, organisers are delighted to announce that in addition to an array of Dublin Intercounty players attending on the day, the event will be honoured to welcome the new GAA President, Liam O’Neill.  “This will be one of the first public appearances of Laim O’Neill in his new role and for an event such as ours it is an amazing endorsement of our endevours and really adds to what promises to be an great afternoon of Irish fun” say chief organiser Stephen Behan from Na Fianna.

The world record attempt is sponsored by Experience Gaelic Games, who help promote Gaelic games by taking overseas visitors for introductory playing sessions of Football, Hurling and Handball.
