On Sunday, January 19th, Na Fianna made history by securing their first-ever Hurling Club All-Ireland! Led by Manager Niall Ó Ceallachain. The victory was a monumental achievement for our very own HQ club venue, Na Fianna.
We as Experience Gaelic Games are immensely proud to be a part of the one club out of the 2,200 clubs on the island to lift the Tommy Moore cup this year.
This victory is incredibly close to our hearts. Many of the players on the panel have either worked with us in the past or are still actively involved.
Additionally, Georgina and Cormac play key roles in the day-to-day running of the club, with Cormac proudly serving as the club’s Chairman.
The victory capped off an unforgettable weekend for Na Fianna, packed with activities that engaged everyone in the community, from young to old. We had kids discos, blitzes, a mentor night, and the inspiring ‘Up for the Game’ panel, where special guests shared their expertise on Hurling, Football, and Camogie.
The morning of the games we gathered in Na Fianna for breakfast, music and our unforgettable parade down to Croke Park. The weekend created countless memories for club members of all ages, made even more special by the historic All- Ireland win by our hurlers.
The celebrations continued with a joyful homecoming for the team, where we proudly welcomed them back with an open-top bus parade. It was a moment that will be cherished for years to come.
